You will only lose in the long run as you will either have to stand on a low total or are bound to go bust.

Busting - Believe it or not one of the worst tactics you can use is to never go bust. This is something which has been fooling new and experienced blackjack players alike for an eternity, and will continue to do so despite the obvious lack of logic that it is based on. If you never go bust you will continually stick on low hands which have no chance of beating the dealer. The dealer has to stand on soft 17, and you stand on 15 to prevent going bust. How is that ever going to make the game profitable for you?

Card counting - Basically, unless you are a fantastic mathematician or have a photographic memory, don’t even try. It’s more complicated than you think, and takes a lot of hard work. And if you thought it would reap immediate rewards; you’re wrong. The most important thing to note is that if you were thinking of trying card counting when playing online; think again. The Random Number Generator is exactly as it says; random. It can’t be beat in this way.

Doubling down - Do not avoid doubling down as it is very useful and is the best way to make more money more quickly. New players are often afraid of this move due to the additional wager and the uncertainty. Of course, it will only work if understood properly. Watch out for casinos that only let you double down on certain totals as these will be the hands with the better chance of the casino winning. If you know you have a good chance of winning; do not avoid the opportunity.

Starting with the dealer placing two cards on the table, each player must then decide whether or not to increase the amount of cards in their hand. The game is won by the player who has 21 (made up of an Ace and a 10, or any of the court cards, Jack, Queen or King), or has the highest numbered card. The first touchdown of the season was something we’ve always witnessed for years now, Peyton Manning to Marvin Harrison.
Yep, the defending Super Bowl XLI champions, Indianapolis Colts, was indeed still in championship form after they simply dominated the New Orleans Saints at both sides of the field, 41-10, Thursday.
It definitely looked like the Colts are ready to do it all over again. After coming up with the first touchdown of the 2007-08 NFL football season when Peyton Manning connected with Marvin Harrison for a 27-yard TD play, Peyton had two more, connecting with Reggie Wayne TWICE to shatter any hopes the Saints have in beating the defending champs.
Coming to the season opener, Peyton Manning faced his hometown team, growing up idolizing the Saints his father, Archie Manning, led in the past. This night though, this Manning was out to lead the Saints to their first loss of the young regular season.
For what it’s worth, the New Orleans Saints did look as if they were about to dealt the Colts their first loss since winning Super Bowl XLI in Miami, Florida. The Colts were helping too, showing signs of rust, so to speak, at least after first half of football.

Yep, the poor guy is still being investigated as of press time.
And although the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is still refusing to even utter a single word about the death of Chris Benoit (yep, they’re actually pretending as if Benoit did not exist these days…) doctors are still investigating what brought Benoit to kill his wife and child before hanging himself.
Recent findings say that Chris Benoit may have severe damage to the brain after suffering numerous concussions throughout his career in pro wrestling. Doctors say that’s probably why he killed himself and his family.
You see, taking chair shots to the head is a fan favorite in pro wrestling. Wrestling fans always wait for that moment when a wrestler will pick up a steel chair (for some reason, always found underneath the ring…) and bash the opponent’s skull until it cracks open and blood is spilled.
Brutal, yes. But apparently, the viewers like it. Hell, they even have sledgehammers and baseball bats wrapped in barbed wire now so I guess you can say steel chair shots would have to be the ‘’safest way to bash an opponent’s head in.”

The first of the final five races of the season begins when McLaren, Ferrari and the rest of the top constructors of the game collide on Sunday.
As of press time, McLaren-Mercedes, despite all the controversies surrounding them and the now infamous Stepneygate scandal, is lording over the rest of the pack as far as the best team in F1 is concerned. They lead the constructors’ championship standings with 163 points, ahead of rivals Ferrari, who has 137.
And yes, it’s all because of their two drivers, rookie Lewis Hamilton and two-time F1 world champion, Fernando Alonso. Although the two teammates are no longer on the same page this 2007 F1 season, they are still the best two drivers in Formula One these days and nobody can tell them otherwise yet.
Lewis Hamilton, despite missing the podium twice in his last three races, still leads the F1 championship standings with 84 points. Not far behind is his two-time champion teammate, Fernando Alonso, who now has 79 points, after he took advantage of his teammate’s blunders the last three races, getting to the podium in two of them.

One, because Vince Young now plays for the Tennessee Titans in the NFL. Two, because if Vinnie was still playing for Texas, he’ll cream the Indians.
That was not the case last Saturday when the Texas Longhorns hosted the Arkansas State Indians. To say that the Longhorns had somewhat an embarrassing and ugly end to their contest against the visiting Indians could very well be an understatement.
Oh yeah, with the Michigan Wolverines already becoming the first victim of a horrific upset in the early stages of the 2007-08 NCAA college football season, the Texas Longhorns ALMOST became victim number two.
For all ya’ll who missed it, yes, the No.5 ranked team in the country today, that’s the powerhouse team of the Michigan Wolverines, was defeated by a lowly team of the Appalachian State Mountaineers, 34-32, after the Mountaineers’ Corey Lynch blocked a 37-yard field goal try by Michigan to get the improbable upset.

Remember the ”Zinedine Zidane head-butt” that ended France’s chances of winning the 2006 FIFA World Cup?
Apparently, both France and Italy still remember it so well that they can’t help it but generate some controversy already heading to their Euro 2008 qualifier this Saturday at the San Siro stadium.
For one, France head coach Raymond Domenech is suspended for this Saturday’s fixture between the two rival countries. Domenech was suspended for the Euro 2008 qualifier for accusing Italy of fixing an Olympic qualifying match that happened eight years ago.
And just because Italy probably provoked France’s Zinedine Zidane to unleash a vicious head-butt to Italy’s Marco Materazzi during the World Cup final that virtually let the Italian contingent celebrate with the 2006 FIFA World Cup title, the France head coach decided to tell all of us about something that happened for almost a decade ago.
”The hype surrounding this game doesn’t surprise me. The memory of July 9 is still within all of us,” Italy forward Alessandro Del Piero said, recalling the date last year when Italy beat France on penalties in the 2006 FIFA World Cup final.
